OriginalUI ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that provides web protection and UI cleanup features. This privacy policy explains how the Extension handles your data.

Data Collection

OriginalUI does not collect any personal information. The Extension:

• Does not collect browsing history
• Does not collect personal identifiers
• Does not track your online activity
• Does not transmit any data to external servers
• Does not use analytics or tracking services

Local Data Storage

The Extension stores the following data locally on your device using Chrome's Storage API:

• Extension Settings: Your preferences such as whether the extension is enabled or disabled
• Whitelist: Domains you have marked as trusted
• Custom Rules: Element removal rules you have created
• Statistics: Counts of blocked elements and navigation attempts (stored locally for display purposes only)

This data never leaves your device and is only used to provide the Extension's functionality.

Permissions

The Extension requires the following browser permissions:

• activeTab: To detect the current website domain and apply protection rules
• storage: To save your settings and preferences locally
• alarms: To schedule periodic tasks for data updates
• declarativeNetRequest: To block network requests to known malicious domains
• Host Permissions: To apply protection features across websites you visit

Third-Party Services

OriginalUI does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer any information to third parties. Since all data is stored locally on your device, there is no data to share.

Data Security

Your data is stored using Chrome's built-in Storage API, which provides secure, sandboxed storage isolated from other extensions and websites.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• Access: View your settings through the Extension's settings page
• Modify: Change any settings at any time
• Delete: Remove all data by uninstalling the Extension or clearing extension data in Chrome settings
• Export: Export your rules and settings using the Extension's export feature

Children's Privacy

The Extension does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13 years of age.
